Driving your car down the highway is easy and considerably safe since you mostly know where the road will take you, you have markings to tell you your current position and where the roads lead you to and when you are to make a next turn.

There is also a big no go red and white bar sign telling you where you are not allowed to drive. Such signs stop you from doing a disastrous nonsense to drive in a no-go zone. We can call driving on a wrong side of the highway a no drive zone.

In the sky it is much harder to know where one can fly safely, what is the appropriate altitude, where it is not allowed to fly due to the several possible reasons. These are the so called no fly zones, which are well controlled in a commercial or military aviation through the air traffic control and regulation.

With new age drones, things have changed, now everyone can fly but not everybody knows where it is safe or allowed to fly. There is no air traffic control for small drones. Usually people just act according to the buy and fly principle. They do not even have to understand how drones fly and operate, computers do the job for them. With drones people are given to cope with three dimensions, whereas in everyday traffic most of us are only used to cope with two dimensions and we all know how hectic that can become on a daily basis.

The difference between 2D and 3D is huge, we are born to walk not to fly.

With no fly zone application which overlaps the original flyapp of commercially available drones, one can easily see where it is not allowed to fly. No fly zones are marked on a screen with a red overlapping structures.

Using the app will get users out of trouble in places where one can get identified and fined for flying in prohibited areas. Usually no fly zones are safety related therefore by using no fly zone app one becomes a safer drone operator.

The definition of no fly zones is to be regulated by the community and subjects (owner of real-estate) can apply for no fly zone over the owned object. Once approved, the no fly zone is put into the register and the application is being regularly updated like a car navigation applications.

And to put things into the right perspective – 1000s of drones are being sold daily !!!! And air traffic safety is a very serious issue.
